Commemorating Fifty Years of Continuous Production
The Aviation Museum at Marietta, Georgia’s C-130 Club was established in 2005 to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the first production flight of the C-130A which took place on April 7, 1955. Since that time, over 40 models and variants of the C-130 have served in military and humanitarian missions in more than 50 nations.
