The principles guiding the work and development of the
Aviation Museum at Marietta, Georgia as a resource for
life-long learning are as follows:

The Aviation Museum at Marietta, Georgia is governed by a 30-member Board of Directors and receives counsel from a 17-member Advisory Board. The future course of the museum has been mapped by a long-range strategic plan developed and adopted by the Board, along with other stakeholders from within the community.
Support for the Aviation Museum is on the
rise. Formal and informal alliances have been
formed with State and local government officials,
such as the Governor of Georiga and
State legislators; aircraft manufacturers such
as Lockheed Martin; State and local school
boards, such as Georgia Department of Education
and Cobb County School Board; area
Chambers of Commerce such as Cobb County;
and other nonprofits with complimentary
missions such as Tiger Flight Foundation.
